Mindy Jacobson

Mindy has been the owner/stylist at Cutting Connections for the past 6-1/2 years. She graduated from the Academy of Beauty Culture where she received her Cosmetology and Cosmetology Teacher licenses. Besides working at the salon, she teaches at the Aloha Cosmetology Center in Granite City.

Dana Hayes

Dana graduated from Kaskaskia College in 1996. In college, she interned at Plaza Hair Design and then received a job there. Later, she bought the salon and owned for several years. After 5 years of ownership and a name change to Cutting Connections, she sold the salon to Mindy.

Shannon Kahrhoff

Shannon graduated from Kaskaskia College in 1996. After working and gaining experience at other hair salons, she started working at Cutting Connections in 1999.

Rae Ellen Reece

Rae Ellen is a life long resident of Highland. After loving to do hair for many years, she decided to go to Cosmetology School. In 1980, she opened her own salon. After 26 years, she decided to relocate to Cutting Connections, where she has been working since 2006.

Kayla Descher

I recently graduated from New Image School of Cosmetology.  I've always had a passion for art and people, so working at Cutting Connections has allowed me to incorporate both of my passions into a career I couldn't be more pleased with.
